What does Times Six VA do?

Times Six VA is a fully remote creative agency based in Linden, Johannesburg. We offer WordPress website development (Elementor Pro & hand-coded), specialised Gravity Forms builds, graphic design, motion graphics, brand identity, photo editing and manipulation, and a full range of virtual assistant services - from general admin to eBay support and Accounts Payable.

Where are you based and do you work internationally?

We're based in Linden, Johannesburg, Gauteng - but we're a fully remote operation and work with clients globally. Most of our work is delivered digitally, so location is never a barrier. We've worked with clients in South Africa, the UK, and elsewhere.

Who is on the Times Six VA team?

Our core team consists of:

Do you do wedding stationery, party invites or personal projects?

No - we focus exclusively on business and brand-related creative work. We don't offer wedding design, personal event invitations, hand-animated characters, or personal photography. Our clients are businesses, institutions, and brands that need professional, authoritative creative output.

WordPress & Gravity Forms
What is included in the base WordPress website price?

The base price of R 9,800 includes a WordPress website of up to 3 pages, built with Elementor Pro or hand-coded to your requirements. Additional pages are charged at R 1,400 each. Domain registration, privacy protection and 1-year hosting (via domains.co.za) can be added as a once-off fee of R 950.

What is the difference between Elementor Pro and hand-coded pages?

Elementor Pro builds give you a visual drag-and-drop editor so you (or your team) can update page content, images and text without coding knowledge. Hand-coded pages are cleaner, faster, and more precise - ideal for complex layouts, custom animations, or when performance is critical. We recommend the right approach based on your specific needs and team capability.

What Gravity Forms add-ons do you work with?

We're specialists in complex Gravity Forms builds. We regularly work with:

  • GP Nested Forms - repeating entries (e.g. add room, add item)
  • GP Address Autocomplete - Google Places API integration
  • GP Multi-Page Navigation - page validation & progress tracking
  • GP Populate Anything - dynamic field population
  • Gravity Forms Plupload - drag-and-drop multi-file upload
  • Conditional logic, calculated fields, hidden progress fields
Will I be able to edit my website after it's built?

Yes. All our WordPress builds are handed over with full admin access. If built with Elementor Pro, you'll be able to visually edit content, swap images and update text without touching code. We also offer ongoing WordPress maintenance, updates, and bulk content changes as part of our VA services.

Do you offer e-commerce development?

We don't build WooCommerce or WordPress e-commerce stores. For e-commerce requirements, we recommend Shopify - we're happy to discuss Shopify-based projects and can advise on the best approach for your needs.

Graphic Design
How many revisions are included in a logo design?

Our logo design package (R 3,600) includes 3 revision rounds. Additional revision rounds are available at R 1,400 each. We find that 3 rounds is sufficient for most projects when a clear brief is provided upfront - we provide a detailed questionnaire to make sure we start in the right direction.

What formats do you deliver design files in?

All final design files are delivered in the formats relevant to the project:

  • Logos: SVG, PNG (transparent), PDF, and source files on request
  • Social media: PNG/JPEG at platform-correct dimensions
  • Print design: Print-ready PDF at correct resolution and bleed
  • Motion graphics: MP4 (H.264) optimised for digital use
Do you design social media content on a retainer?

Yes - we work with several clients on ongoing monthly social media content packages. If you need a consistent flow of posts designed each month, we can put together a custom package based on your volume and requirements. Contact us to discuss.

Motion Graphics
What software do you use for motion graphics?

We produce all motion graphics in Adobe After Effects, using Mister Horse animation presets for polished, professional results. All deliverables are exported as MP4 (H.264) optimised for web, social media, and digital presentations.

What is included in an animated intro banner?

Our intro banner package (R 8,800 for 15 seconds) includes a fully animated banner with sequenced element animations - text, logo, graphics, and background all animate in and out with timing and easing that creates a polished, professional feel. We handle the full production from concept to final MP4 delivery.

Do you do hand-animated or frame-by-frame character animation?

No - we don't offer hand-animated or frame-by-frame character animation. Our motion graphics work is focused on business and brand assets: logo animations, intro sequences, motion banners, and stock-style video content.

What VA tasks can your team handle?

Our VA team is broad in capability:

Do you offer a monthly VA retainer?

Yes. Our monthly retainer is R 6,800/month for 20 hours of VA time. This is ideal for businesses that need consistent, reliable support without the overhead of a full-time employee. Hours can be used across any combination of our VA services. Contact us to set up a retainer arrangement.

How do I communicate tasks and manage the work?

We work via WhatsApp, email, or whatever task/project management tool you prefer (Trello, Asana, Notion, etc.). We're flexible and adapt to your workflow. For ongoing clients, we typically use a simple shared task list or weekly check-in structure.

Pricing & Payment
Are your prices inclusive or exclusive of VAT?

All prices listed on our site and in quotes are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Final invoices will reflect the applicable VAT and any project-specific additions agreed upon.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept EFT bank transfers (ZAR) for South African clients. For international clients, we can arrange payment via PayPal or other agreed methods - please discuss this when we confirm your quote.

Do you require a deposit before starting work?

Yes - for most projects we require a 50% deposit upfront before work commences, with the balance due on delivery. For larger or longer-term projects, we may structure milestone-based payments. This is always confirmed in writing before any work begins.

Are the online quote tool estimates accurate?

The online quote tool gives you a reliable estimate based on standard project parameters. Final pricing is always confirmed after a brief consultation where we discuss your specific requirements. Some projects may be slightly higher or lower depending on complexity - but we'll never surprise you with unexpected charges.

Process & Turnaround
What is the typical turnaround time for a website?

A standard 3–5 page WordPress site typically takes 7–14 business days from briefing and deposit received, depending on complexity and how quickly content and assets are provided by the client. Complex builds or sites with custom Gravity Forms may take longer - we'll give you a realistic timeline in your quote.

How long does a logo design take?

Logo design typically takes 5–10 business days from deposit and brief received, depending on the number of concept directions and revision rounds. We present 2–3 initial concepts and refine from there based on your feedback.

What do you need from me to get started?

To kick off a project we typically need:

  • A signed quote / written confirmation of the brief
  • 50% deposit payment
  • Your logo files (if applicable)
  • Brand colours and fonts (if you have them)
  • Any content, copy, or images you want to use
  • Reference sites or style examples you like

We'll send you a brief questionnaire after you confirm your quote to make sure we have everything we need.

Do you offer ongoing support after a project is complete?

Yes - we offer post-launch WordPress maintenance, content updates, and ongoing design and VA support on an hourly or retainer basis. Many of our clients use our VA services for regular WordPress updates, content additions, and social media design on an ongoing basis.
